The best part of Mother's Day

Hope everyone had a special day

Fourth day and got to drive !!!!!!

Today I was able to drive so I go.  First stop  Rachel's day spa to have my hair done.  It feels so good to have it washed since I can't get my hand wet.  I was not sure I would find this place as I  missed my turn.  Had a great time .  Dying to go back and do a pedicure.

And then some shopping. I have a idea for the Easter table.  So off I went to find my items.  Did good until I came to the dishes.  No luck.  But still have some places yet to go.  I found the cutest little bird nest on a stand  and a place to put a name tag. So I got 8 as they were on sale. I want to fill them with easter candy and some kind cookie shaped as a egg.  As I told my daughter she asked if I was having a party.  As she lives in California and I now live inTennessee. So  she laughing as we have no family here.  So no I'm not having Easter dinner for a large crowd.  Just table for two.

But I will have the nice looking table.

Had good  a laugh this morning as I tried to do my makeup with one hand.  I noticed this at the spa I only did half of one of my eyebrows.  lol

One handed !!!

Trying all of this with one hand...  This is not as easy as it looks.   I have laughed alot at myself  the past two days.  Like opening bottles, getting dressed, sitting in the chair trying to lean back almost knocking the chair over.  So lets see what happens today.

Spring ........

Off for a few days. Having surgery next week on my hand. So try to get things done. Sewing, working on my blog and getting some things ready for Etsy.  Trying to get a  box ready to mail  for four special people.

Dad's and their knowledge

I was just reading a post from Prettie's and Poises.  She was talking about a apple tree and  her  Dad . As soon as I was done reading this I was off to call my Dad.  I miss seeing him , I wish could see him more often.

Valentine Day

My husband did really well this year.  We went out to dinner on Friday night to miss the crowd.  Flowers came to the house Saturday morning.   Went with me to do some junking and visting Pottery Barn outlet.

Hope eveyone had a special day as well.

I'm not a snow person

I miss the good old days when we could drive up to Big Bear for the day and play in the snow and come home.  The best part was we could go  to the beach the next day.

New desk and junking with the hubby......

Went  and did some junking with my husband. I really scored with a black desk I found for a great price.  My husband found a huge mirror.  Not too excitied about the mirror. I  have to go tomorrow and to pick it up. So I spend the afternoon trying to make room in the craftroom for it..
