Sewing just for me !

Now that I'm not working I can start doing some fun things.  I have been seeing these purses all over.  So how hard can it be ?  Did the whole thing in about a hour. Changed it around the second and third time . www.psiquilt.com  Its the Friendship bag.   In her direction she show it as 5 inch strips I changed  mine to 10 inch strips.  Makes it a bigger purse.

Bird nest in my head !!

Have you ever gotten something in your head and can not get it out.
Well the bird nest is it.  I saw one in a glass dome on pinterest.  So I have been on a hunt for one.
Today was my day on my way home .  I stopped at the antique store to look for something and guess what I found?  Someone was selling a bird nest a real bird nest.  So now its mime.

And the best part it was 20% off.

August came in with a bang !

We are in the middle of selling our house and making the move to Texas.  So my week started off with roof leaking again. So we had it fixed again at a big cost. Next came the buyer of our house fell  out of escrow.  Which meant we loss our house in Texas.
Now we start all over.

On a good note one of my friends has been coming and sewing with me.  So we have been visting alot of  quilt shop and doing alot os sewing.

My head is just swimming with new ideas.

New Chapter !!!!

I have returned from my house hunting trip to Canyon, Texas. We found two new  homes.  One I'm really in love with.  Found a couple of houses if only I could have Property Brothers come and help remodel.
So now we wait for our house to sell here.  Need a few prayers.
I did quit my job of 10 years. I was spending way to much time there.  So getting use to just being home.  It is nice to sleep past 3:30 in the morning.

So off to start the next new chapter.

Packing up a craft room !!!

Spent today packing up the craft room.   I'll never tell  but I do have alot of stuff.  Packed all the fabric  and other items in totes.  Tried to put things where I will  know where they are.  So I can  still work on things as I wait for the house to sell.

Friday I leave for a week  to  California so I can visit my daughter and the grandkids.  We are going to the Queen Bee Market on the 2nd.  We had so much fun last year.
So can hardly wait.

Getting ready for the move !!

Have ever tried to stage a craft room? The more you move things around or pack things around it start to look like !!!! My husband thinks I need to down size my craft room. Now tell me how you down size a crafter? I had to laugh when we did the survey for the movers. I don't think I was serious about stuff I have. I have the bonus room now. I just pray the new house will have something as big or bigger.

Happy Mother's. Day

In one year it's funny how things can change. We are having Hallmark moment here. My daughter and her husband are adding 2 more blessing to our family. A two boy and one year little girl. Can hardly wait to them. And to top it all off we are now moving to Texas. My husbands job has just changed.
